So Trudeau had a bad week. Ha ha, I always said when Karma finally gets this guy it will be good.

Well, it's awesome to watch. Almost as good as Yellowstone or Landman.

Grain markets got spanked this week. Even if Russia is bone dry, Australia is sprouting and Brazil is turning dryer.

Prices keep going up on Fert and now with a .65 cent dollar real soon everything from equipment to parts will go insane.

Throw in a 25% tarrif and we are sunk.

Usa will pay there farmers as stated this week on all crops.

If we were under their system I would get almost $700,000.00. That would make up for the Fert and chem increases, but we have Ag Stab a joke of a program.

Little perogy quit as finance minister and is, taking little Justin down.

Hey guys Regina gets flights again to Denver, great way to get out of Regina only bad thing it doesn't start till May.

Canada needs a Doge! Plus charge and confiscate every liberal who made huge profits while in office.

Nice to see that our farm organizations finally are fighting back. Get the ****in useless farmers union out of gov advisors. They represent no one that really farms.
We also need time limits on politicians.

If I missed anything add please.

    Merry Christmas

Yeah its an interesting one. Tariffs usually increase the countries dollar and as we sell in us dollars * wheat etc* we should get a strknger basis if demand stays the same ( i feel it should as they up blend alot of our good high quality high pro wheat with their winter wheat) . Can they source it elsewhere for cheaper?
Usa is a big canola buyer but we can also crush and use up what.... 80% of our canola crop?
USA is very quickly becoming a white minority country with a latino population increasing big time. Most common oil used for cookin latino foods? Veggie and canola oil ( or palm).
i dont see US demand for canola stuffs coming down.
If CAD dollar falls much further then corn will become too expensive to source up to the feedlots and will keep a strong feed barley price ( malt follows suit) .

the pea tariff by india was pretty strong and it was put in place by their govt in order for indian farmers to seed more peas. Didnt they have a 100% tarriff on chickpeas at the same time?

Usa is NOT putting tarriffs in place in order to artificially raise the price of canola/wheat so their farmers will grow more of it... bit of a different situation.

Im not Really sure ( bcuz its a very grey area) but i dont see a heavy tariff really hurting our ag markets.
DEF going to make everything pricer to get tho... fert... parts...
every single oil filter we buy now seems to be 80 bucks so whats another 20 lol.

Thr BIG kicker ( but it always is anyways) is if the US and A grows monster crops. Then not much use for our stuff anyways.

Will be interesting. Trying to put a marketing plan in place for next fall and difficult where to even start predicting.

The biggest battle govt CDN and USA seem to have is the ” high priced food cost”.
80% of the voters say they can’t afford food (cost of living)= food bank demand … etc

Not good for agriculture in general, it’s the same old “ produce more for less”

Read Angelic's comments back to guys looking to rent Melville land for big bucks. I would take three to 5 because of the location to our reserve land but you get the big bin yard and he wants so much a bushel rent.
