              Grain markets have zero idea about the small Canadian crop. A handful of areas won’t make up the difference.

              7 isn’t a special for wheat when it’s $8.41 converted today.

              56 dollar canola basis is a joke.

                But by the imagery, there was a big crop in mid July
                I wonder if they could spot the Hessain Fly from space and the up to 30/40% yield loss and downgraded grain quality??

                    Tied into first wheat field. Decent for the year. Protein is only 12. Put a lot more nitrogen on than usual and an average yield. Hearing of insane high protein where it was dry and 13.5 on better yielding areas.

                      Herd talk this morn the local canola kings who grow the 50 bu stuff are complaining its running in the 30-35 range . We might try ours tomorrow if weather permits and i would be tickled if it makes that. Oats were 100 bu but light and lots of skinnies ( backgrounder feed).
