    The earth is flat.
The earth is the center of the universe.
The sun revolves around the earth.
    Smoking is ok.
    Columbus discovered america.
The poor people are trying to steal my lucky charms.

    Global warming is a fact.
Co2 emmissins from humans has excelerated the rate faster than anytime in 650,000 years-fact.

You guys should step into reality.

I'll give you 4 dollars to watch it.

      Climate change is a fact.

4 or 5 ice ages proove that. Before we humans found and burn fossil fuels.

We have had the warmest year since records began 300yrs ago.
How long is that in the exstance of the earth?

I do not question climate change but do question mans involment.

We may be doing harm with co2 but perhaps we are delaying the next ice age.

To think humans can change the world to order is beyond my comprehension.

We will just evole like the dinasours

Cp, please spare us the condescension.

The reality is - climate changes.
        Political alarmists won’t change that.
        Junk science won’t change that.
Redistributing income definitely won’t change that.

Alarmists claimed that summer 2006 was supposed to have more hurricanes than 2005. Anyone else remember that prediction? Didn’t happen.
The last ice age came and went, and I’m not much looking forward to the next one. Personally, I’d fear global cooling a lot more, which is maybe why alarmists are now referring to “climate change” instead. Hedging their bets? Maybe they’ll try to scare us with “global cooling” if the facts don’t play out like they thought. Whatever keeps the money flowing.

Martians, like Canada, can't seem to get renewable fuel policy going either.

                Mustardman,

I have heard the polar caps on Vennus are melting too.

It is responsible to use renewable fuels whenever possible. Co2 pumped into old oil formations... could make more oil avaliable!

Wow... cheap c02 (get paid to pump it underground)... expensive oil... what deal! Obviously I am in the wrong business... I should be selling wheat to CWB Directors!

mustardman: Who said global warming wasn't happening? I think most said it probably was...but questioned if it was man made...and if so how does sending money overseas, ala Kyoto, help?
Do you think it might be a better idea to clean up our own pollution instead of give money to Russia because their industrial plants have gone bankrupt and are no longer operating?
Do you think it would make more sense to spend the money here on things like CO2 injection? Or perhaps pay the Canadian farmer to maintain a carbon sink? Do you realize a methane molecule is 21 times more powerful as a "green house" gas than CO2?
Kyoto is a socialist weath distribution scheme...nothing more! In Canada it will be used to take money, from the west, to buy votes in Ontario and Quebec...nothing more.

                    More on methane.

                    http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/1999/11/991104070820.htm

And of course how the destruction of wetlands have actually stabilized methane balance in the atmosphere.

                      cowman,

You will probably be a little skeptical of Maurice Strong/Kyoto too!

Maybe DA farmers can do a UN funded study, too:

                      http://www.sovereignty.net/p/clim/twoheaded97.htm

"In the April 1996 report of the Global Environment Facility, World Concerns reports the three environmental groups were listed as "Executing Agency" or "Collaborating Organization" for no less than 29 different grants. The total amount thereby funneled through the so-called "NGOs": a staggering $350 million."
