W****r and Adam Smith, you're wasting your time obviously defending or trying to reason with this person ,as a fanatic is a fanatic. Unreasonable, unreachable and unchangeable.
I shouldn't have bother blasting the person because at the end of the day the only message a fanatic hears is their own.

Good to have you back JD, keep posting as that is what it is all about!

Most of us are fanatics, unlikely to change our point of view or position. If it wasn't true we'd only have 2 or 3 farm organizations instead of 8 zillion.

Farming and farmers opinions, I'm convinced, is more divisive and forces sides more than religion any day. Religion divides, but like faith, good conversation and understanding where the other person is coming from, unites.

I guess that is why the special committee isn't made up of farmers.

Nothing special about any committee in ag policy, ever, this one just happens to be dealing with the CWB, which makes it over-emotionally charged and "special".

When I read letters in the farm newspapers, I filter out the ones that come from the same guys all the time because they're the most dogmatic and the least open-minded people. I like to hear from people who are open to ideas, not stuck in one way of thinking. Same thing here. Most posts I don't bother opening anymore. And it's getting worse. Too bad.
