    May 2, North of Edmonton: 5-ish% complete, at best. Some canola and fababeans in the ground, should start again in earnest tuesday-wednesday. Some canola seeded last week into 8 degree soil germinated, but thankfully not emerged before the Frosts (-8 was my worst). We'll be checking again for damage to emerging roots today and tommorrow, on the really early stuff.

      10% seeded NE of Calgary good moisture conditions. Having issues with timing of burn off due to frosts
