Deere $680 didnt work
Could order it from worthington ag parts.. after exchange and shipping would be 200 CAD. But.. i need it yesterday.
These companies are bigger criminals than the 1 time i claim alcohol at an oilers game as an expense.
Things are absolutely ridiculous.
Alberta advantage = bend over

Yup drove one of those 12 or 13. Tin seat
No heat no AC. You plug it .you Flip up the cab seat , take the panel out to dig out the cylinder. . In the cab.
Never were sure you got enough out . So you left the panel out and Machine engage was lever by door.
So if you did have enough out and it and it went thru.
You ran down the steps and watched it all boil out the cab door..you shut it off . Wipe down the inside windows. Put the panel in and go again.it was probably Barley too.
Ah memorys

Prices are ridiculous. But availability of some stuff is worse. Drained planetaries on 2014 MacDon swather not this weekend but weekend before. Lots of metal filings coming out of one. Too much. Pulled it apart. Ring gear and both carriers have lots of chips. Doesn’t look good. Spent most of day Monday and Tuesday hunting for the parts. Looking for either the parts or a whole sealed hub assembly which is cheaper than buying the parts. No hub assemblies available. Checked John Deere, MacDon, CNH dealers as well as wreckers. Nothing. So keep hunting for parts. Phone every dealer group in Sask/Man of every color. Some parts in Winnipeg warehouse. One piece in Regina. Deere had two pieces, MacDon had same 2 pieces. For a while, the secondary carrier didn’t exist in any warehouse. But by Wednesday, one persistent parts guy found the secondary carrier in Kansas City. So it’s mine. I got the last one on the continent. If anyone else has a problem with a secondary carrier on a Series 8b Auburn hub, you might be done for the year. Meanwhile, cleaned everything up and set it back together and went swathing with my chipped gears. Still waiting for parts to show up. Oh, and cost of Ring Gear, Primary and Secondary Carriers, $6800, plus some shipping.
Last year blew the turbo on same swather. Same thing Turbo didn’t exist. Cummins engine. Checked John Deere, Case, MacDon, Cummins, even Peterbilt, and Kenworth. No dealer or dealer warehouse had one. There was 2 in Singapore. Diesel shop found me a rebuilt in Ontario. Air freight it in. Dealer mechanic had swather ripped apart waiting. On day six after Turbo blew, I swathed. That was the only Turbo at the time on the continent. Might be SOL if you blow a Turbo.
