I have a mix of sweet alsike and red. Next time I’ll try a red by itself but sweet is still a workhorse just a poor feed if necessary.

Sun shining this morning, just had an often, wanted, beautiful, slow,,, 3 day rain. Total was manageable for us, 1.25" Great rain for post planting, maybe not pre-planting. Plenty,(as we didn't need any rain) but relieved it wasn't the two or three times what they had forecast for us.(just speaking for our very local area). Will be held up for a couple days for sure, but it could have been so much worse( and we've seen it worse)
caseih, I'm surprised the rain didn't make it up your way?

https://tradingeconomics.com/canada/exports/chinaOriginally posted by jazz View PostThere are rumours of the Biden admin putting together a substantial sanctions package on china this yr and our own numbnuts retard will probably be there to go along.
Canola and some forestry products are the only things china really buys from us.

Wheat done. Barley next for couple days. Where are flea beetles? We are finally the sweet spot, perfect moisture, top dry, few wet spots, in fact drier than June 7 last year. Any other yard a soft frost boil MESS?
But we know subsoil is EMPTY, so....rain lottery. Guess area is 25-40% seeded.

That is exactly what our area down here received over the past three days. It fell at the paradise rate, and if I could I'd send you the next round. It's enough with the melt that it will make a hay crop. Next challenge will be the grasshopper hatch, and the effect it might have on the main crop land.Originally posted by GALAXIE500 View PostFinishing up seeding my Durum stubble today. She's getting mighty dry in my area , NW of the old cowtown!
A 2 inch rain over 3 days would make for a paradise around here.
Three day rain - three day wait.
