Fishing season opened today and there is still ice on last mountain lake.We are three weeks behind in regards to the weather in our area so hoping for hot dry rest of May. It will be another week at least before we get rolling.Comment

Missed my cousin’s place by a mile yesterday.
This was the smoke from it earlier today from the yard. Now it’s all hazy smoke out west from all the fires.
The Wildwood fire is sitting a half mile from my friends and they’re putting up a good fight. The wind is blowing over trees on the fences, humidity is in the teens, and the temp is 25* definitely an uphill battle. Maybe tomorrow night the weather may break which will be too late for many…………..
