Rallied for a little gain at the end of the day. I think we are off to the races unless a deal is reached by the 18th. Place your bets! lol

US winter wheat harvest starts in about 30 days in the farthest south. Don’t place any bets on these thoughts, but would you think there are farmers in the States, in the dried out areas, frosted areas, that forward contracted wheat, and still haven’t got out of those contracts? The market often over estimates that a crop is better than it is, until the combines hit the field. So wouldn’t grain companies down there be looking for grain to fill contacts that have not been delivered upon because farmers don’t have the physical grain? Problem is I suppose the size of the damaged area is either unknown or just not being talked about in the media. You would expect a rally when the truth comes out eventually.

I’ve had the doors locked till yesterday, sold 1/3 at $10.27, up .72 in two days have to take advantage of that. Not what I really wanted but with this really had to sell some.

With Russia literally giving their wheat and oil away at discounts could be hard for wheat to keep going.

Talked to a market analyst yesterday he figures wheat acres in Canada will come in higher in the June Stats Can report. Just putting it out there right now ….. I’m growing 25,000 of oats, turnips and few acres of cucumbers.

Please everyone DON’T give any numbers out to these quacks.
