We toured the Wascana Flats south of Richardson/Kronau/LA(that’s Lajord), and we’re pleasantly surprised. We thought we’d see miles of water when instead we saw very little water. Big Surprise, give us ten warm windy days and we’ll be getting Crop 23 in de ground especially Lentil stubbles.

Yes vastly different from western Sask to eastern Sask .
If that forecast of being dry holds true , 1/2 of Sask and Alberta are completely screwed, especially areas that had poor crops 3 years in a row already .
Guys are seeding here on lighter land so they don’t lose the moisture that’s there now .

West of Liberty ,Sk. We had 2 inches of rain last Oct then a foot of heavy wet snow first of Nov. so we went into winter wet, ground froze hard then lots of snow in winter.Add in the 18 in of wet snow last week. This week looks good for drying at least.

Bone dry and +25c for the next 7 days, not sure what’s coming but hopefully it is rain. Not even May yet. Green on the trees and 4 weeks earlier than last years cold spring.
