According to Tractor spec, it was worth $116,000 brand new.

Only 266 PTO HP.

Run a big 13inch auger?

We run a 13" auger with very worn out 100 pto HP. Full bore with tough wheat makes it smoke, otherwise, its enough HP. The shear bolt is the weak point, not the HP. Not sure what size auger would require 266 hp?

That price almost seems reasonable compared to the 40 year old 2290 at the same sale for $30,000.
A few years ago you couldn't give away a 90 series case tractor. Something about the ticking time bomb they called a powershift.
