        ADM got all my business this year (2023). Transparency and they were the cheapest after checking everybody else.

          What I don't get, is Cargill. I phone them to get a price like everyone else. They can be anywhere from 2 weeks or no reply. Just not hungry I guess.

          I keep trying because sometimes they are the cheapest by a mile. So don't want to miss out.

            Yeah Cargill was cheapest last year, these companies must know we shop around, fert is the largest expense on the farm.

                  Depending on the soil zone, I suspect most prairie farms will be spending somewhere between $100 and $200/acre on fertilizer this year. With those numbers a good portion of farms could purchase a new combine or two with the fertilizer bill

                    No where near a big fertilizer user but for what I put down on the average isn’t too far off $100/acre. Guys on better land not far away will be in between $100 and $200. It’s gross when a few years back $100 covered most of my inputs.
