Been raining here decent for 3 hours
So glad done silage plots ahead of this , huge workload done
Just a few days of canola left.

Was a challenge to keep up to silage machine , get samples of each variety and keep things moving for trucks 😳

Another half inch today. Swathed canola loving it. Swathed cereals? Not so much.

Hopefully we can get the old dml back. You know the one who relentlessly argued taking 4 shots of an experimental cocktail is the same as wearing your seat belt or stopping at a red light.

Grassers been a tough spring and summer for them find out later today how it works out. They looked pretty green going on the truck I know they are lighter than last years batch. But treading water and eating lush wet grass doesn't pack the pounds on. My order buyer says they will sell well hope he's right.

It looks like Canola harvest may start this week around Regina. Trip from Regina to Yorkton last Wednesday and most Canola is neatly laid in giant swathes. We heard of one farmer going straight yesterday and testing dry in afternoon. Its gonna be giver hell time any day now, lots of Canola out there.

Mostly canola left to go. Interesting with canola standing to ripen cause you can see through the thin crappy spots. Definitely a waiting game compared to swathing. I’ll take swaths over this but need to ride with neighbours to see how it works out.
