Rain pretty much every direction 30 miles away. Most costly, disappointing year yet.
Sorry to hear this Quad... hope rain can yet come...July 12 is often the date we use for a possible come back... second growth tillers and blooms can still make something... if, a stand is established...

    Prayers and Salutations....

Yes. Our land by Fielding is slightly better than at home. It’s all way too dry. And I meant to post this in the rain thread…even screwed that up! Lol

Sorry to hear that Quad, I thought just about everybody got a drink this past month. Seemed like a lot of storms along the yellowhead from the radar I was seeing, but doesnt tell the tale on the ground.

I know how you feel. We are an hour north of Regina and until Monday our last rain was June 09.Rain all around but missed us every time. We did get 8/10 on Monday so are grateful for that. Early canola crops look good, later seeded are patchy , should fill in now.

Overall there is a big area that needs rain regularly for an average crop. The subsoil moisture that provides alot of the in between time is not there for these crops.

While they look pretty now a week to 10 days without rain going through July at any time, is going to take yield off very quickly no matter the crop.

Canola gaining back some of recent loss.

                    Was up almost $2

                    Slipped back about 20 cents.
