Thats why I taught my boys to understand miles. They know we are surveyed in miles, farm directions in kliks are meaningless.

Joys of having thieves constantly in the neighbourhood……….

Nothing like getting a call first thing in the morning that a 100 pairs are out roaming in the coal mine beside the open pits and power plant. Turns out thieves cut two exterior fences and gates in this field to get to some transformers. They’re taken and damaged $100’s of thousands dollars the last few weeks apparently. Found a truck stuck in the bottom of a pit with a guy passed out on cocaine with guns and ammo even.

My cousin had them strip all the wiring out of a pump house which is quite common but now they cut the plastic hose a bunch of times just to be ignorant. All we can hope for is they drive off the high wall in the dark to the water filled pits below to help solve the problem.


Really have had enough of the catch and release justice system. Maybe these judges that keep cutting these habitual repeat criminals loose should be required to have them live in their basement for a few months?

Did some catch and release of our own with grandpa and the kids yesterday. Sure has been too long since we did that.

We managed to giver on Liberty till 1:30 then take time to go see father in law at LTC then got back on sprayer and finished by 6 pm . Nice to be done weed control for now . Raining light here since 5:30 am . Huge weight off shoulders

And ya , thieves have been out bad here as well this past month. Seems non stop at times
Terrible to have to deal with this crap , but too many idle hands living off free money …. Sickening how they have to steal and vandalism from those who work hard to make a living

A recent concerning trend locally has been gangbangers shooting at the local RCMP when they approach the meth houses out on the rez. This has happened on some of the best run IR's in this area.

If that is at all a trend it will make police work a whole new level of dangerous and will likely make any contact with those gangs extremely dangerous for us all.

Or at least till the new gun registration comes into effect and they turn in their guns.****
