Agree, quite variable we had between .8”- 1.4” within 2 miles. We’re saturated again but will take whatever moisture we can get at this point after going thru last year. Took a trip to Saskatoon today and the SE part of Saskatoon received less than.1” , dust on the gravel road at 9am this morning.

Canola traders must have made some phone calls we are now making news about conditions of crops and seeded acres . Canola might be heading up again and lots of areas in Manitoba are a hot mess. 1/4 I got sprayed ( burndown ) 2 days ago I barely got across with quad last night after 2 inches. Footrot season just around the corner if we get those hot temps this week.

Got a couple tenths over the past couple days, might get another one today. Missed us. Crop is late. Some fields still not up.

Well after 2 days of rain my rain gauge now says 2 inches and still raining. Driving around a bit yesterday afternoon the water was still soaking away without creating too many sloughs, we will see what today brings.I am curious did those who needed rain the most get any moisture?

Getting close to 3" and still raining. We were supposed to get 20 to 30 mm in our area. From drought to a flood. Had water running for 4 weeks this spring due to all that useless snow last winter (it took a week of during the freeze in mid April) and now those areas are flooded again. Another small crop once again due to flooding like 2020. Great on the hilltops but drowned out in lower areas. Hopefully it quits soon.

I know exactly where you are jazz, and it’s lush and green and things are great. Sorry, couldn’t resist.

Not sure what to say, not fun, especially on a year like this.

Some of our neighbors moved up to the Peace, most came back again. A common theme I've heard is that the local farmers expected to have disasters more often than not ( I forget the number of years), but the one crop in x years is so good it makes up for it.
Any truth to that in your opinion? And is that any longer true with the high land prices, and high input prices? And not helpful if the one year is out of sync with the high grain prices.

2.2 inches in the gauge yesterday morning and another inch this morning. Less than an inch all tolled before this. Still raining and blowing blue blazes. A lifesaver for man and beast for sure. Range 9, twp 29, W4. Special Areas not far from Helmsdale.

Zero here and almost perfect soil conditions nothing drowned best crop coming in years. Makes me wonder what kind of wreck I have coming.
