Just rechecked the next 7-day forecast for us and rain on 4 out of 5.

If I could I trade ya... I'll be drying things out terribly today by exposing it, but we've got to get going. I'd typically be 10 days to 2 weeks in by now.

Entire SE horizon is brown with blowing dirt from somewhere south of here today. Effing ugly day!

Mother is Alaskan Malamute , the two pups are a mix . Great dogs , but they are very protective of yard and some reason like to kill beavers 🦫 .
Usually get a few every spring

The lady who hunts and traps beavers for the county takes her dog with her and keeps it on shore. She has it trained to come and save her if a beaver attacks.
Not a very big dog either.
