Maybe because as of today, parts aren't available for new equipment either.Originally posted by furrowtickler View PostSo why are guys paying ridiculous amounts for older tractors if no parts available?

The difference being, a local machine shop can make a shaft or gear for a mechanical shift, but the local blacksmith will have trouble making the computer chip for the new equipment when it breaks down.
