Fall will get serious now shooting for 90bpa wheat like 2020. Have Fert bought to achieve close to that.

Read somewhere Canada wheat stocks won't fill the world shortage.
That should indicate Canada's carryover should be zero by harvest. Currently the moisture maps don't support a larger crop than last year.

Pivotal year for this area .
But if that’s the biggest of our worries still better than most areas in the world right now .

I’m feeding cows the wheat I grew 10 years ago. It’s funny, most years the cow food is worth more than the calves they produce.

There may be some late seeding plan changes coming. I’m sure some will seed less barley now, and have heard durum acres may drop in favour of wheat.
I really don’t see that happening.
I wasn’t planning on any wheat, but what’s happening is enticing me to seed a little. My dad always said it’s good to have a little wheat around.
I have to real good varieties ... Brandon, and bought certified Viewfield last yr. I like both of them.
Cleaner is here now and my guy told me he’s not cleaning wheat for me. Lol
I haven’t sold any yet, put a target in for a small amount yesterday, it may have hit overnight.
The rest is going to sit in the bin.
SKF, we may get that $15 .. will you sell or wait for higher is the question??

First wheat was almost 12 so happy second and third might get 15. I did a small amount for September that’s my screw up. Oh well.

Would you want to plant a crop if Saskatchewan was being bombed or land mines in your field this spring. Well that’s what Ukraine farmers will face.
Ports are damaged.
Supply isn’t as big as they say we all know that it’s hand to mouth.
USA is dry and getting dryer.
Iran is a large wheat grower and guess what they think the crop is 20 to 30% less production.
Big ACE In the whole scheme is canada and ND and guess what a few inches of snow doesn’t end a drought.
I screwed up doing a small contract early but it’s a small amount and I can live with that sale. Now I’m waiting. I can bet grain companies are laughing all the way to the bank on wheat because they bought quite a bit for fall.
The world eats bread and it’s a staple that never should of been priced hand to mouth.
$15 like I said was possible should be the price now. Will 20 be the fall price?

SRW has moved over 150/t since I sold mine. ðŸ˜But who knew...
