I didn't think there would be any dissenting opinions on this matter. It seemed quite non-partisan and non divisive, I guess I was wrong.

I have personally been shaking their hands singularly ( hard to make a swarm of one) thanking them for their service, telling them how much I appreciate position they are in and telling them we all want a peaceful resolution. If you call that swarming then I guess we don't have much common ground on this issue. I will keep your vote in the not supporting law enforcement column.

I have had conversations. My impression is, that when push comes to shove, law enforcement will not be loyal to federal or provincial governments. Which I think is already obvious by the fact that they have not acted.
