Man are the police dumb. They are busy putting up concrete barricades and blocking off streets in QC and Toronto. Well thanks for doing the truckers job for them. Now they can box you idiots in and get out and walk in and still blow the horns.

Every move just makes it worse, just like covid. Instead of just ripping the bandaid off, we have this.

Police and authorities are putting a bandaid on a festering sore with the barricades or even throwing salt on the sore. This thing has gone parabolic and insensed enough of the population at large which the mobile 20% has it from here.

The crowdfunding platform GoFundMe says it will stop payments to the organizers of Freedom Convoy 2022 because the protest violates its rules on violence and harassment.

The company announced its decision in a blog post Friday evening, just two days after it froze disbursements of the fund.

"GoFundMe supports peaceful protests and we believe that was the intention of the Freedom Convoy 2022 fundraiser when it was first created," the company said in the post.

"We now have evidence from law enforcement that the previously peaceful demonstration has become an occupation, with police reports of violence and other unlawful activity."

Pressure from the feds. Imagine if you’re ordered in front of a parliamentary committee and don’t want any trouble with your platform. Go Fund Me is a great concept for fundraising for charitable causes. Look at the Humbolt Broncos fundraising and the due diligence undertaken before money was released. They have to keep it above board or they’d get shut down. Still my opinion is they were coerced by the government.

I heard Ottawa police chief said they wanted the protest gone. I don’t think they can kick them out as long as they aren’t breaking the law. Protests inconvenience people. That is the point.
