What works for me is rotating my ipad or iphone from landscape to portrait then back again to lanscape.
Seems then to just stay at bottom. Imac i have an extension on Safari called Adblock. Just go to Safari preferences, then click on extensions, and follow up from there. You can put adblock on ipad, iphone also. Settings, Safari, Extnsions, follow up. I just never put it on them. Just my two cents worth.
