The average 747 jet holds about 50,000 gallons of jet fuel, basically diesel. That they burn per day. That is enough fuel to produce how much food? And farmers are made out to look like we are evil polluters.

This is an interesting read. Alberta's true oil reserves (Original Oil In Place) are more than 2 Trillion bbls almost half of it technically recoverable.

There is another oil bearing formation under the current one they are working on. Amazing wealth there.

That sounds like an impressive amount of oil.

At the current demand of 100 million barrels per day, the recoverable portion is less than 8 years of worldwide usage.

Predictions are hard. Especially about the future.
So oil demand is back over 100 million bpd. With global flights in 2021 still at half their 2019 level.
People still working from home, conferencing from home, big public events still scaled back or cancelled, 2 more years of growth in the EV and alternative energy markets, 2 more years of divestment in fossil fuels, and pledges by politicians, etc.
What will demand be when we get back to normal?
