Worst of it for us, is no one has a clue how many sheep we have. Every time someone starts counting, we fall asleep. It’ll be no different for the crop ins. person!

Standing in a pen counting is an art mastered by very few.
I can hardly count running them up the alley or through the gate.

Many use drones now don’t they. Take some photos, count at leisure.

Used to do audits at a feedlot. Have the inventory of the pen, run them all right past the counters, we’d all have the same correct number, audit folk got lost at 20.

Administration/ audits may well eat up some of the announced money.
Probably like most “programs” it will eat up close to half when all said and done

Government only give free money to Loblaws, SNC Lavalin and other Quebec companies.... oh and covid money to people who absolutely did not need it ... for votes .

But farmers will be scrutinized and audited like never before , the headlines in media will only spout half the truth on the premises they helping farmers LOL
What a joke this country has become

Got my rainfall insurance report.got 107% of normal rain.no payout for me.Totaly fine cause crops and hay is probably 107% of normal here.Great easy insurance to protect a person's livestock herd.i would think a lot of areas will get huge rainfall pay outs.

First 10 are easy but by the time I take my rubber boots and socks off there's sometimes dozens of them ran past me!
