That was kind of long winded response.
I'm going to summarize;
If your hospital records in the USA say covid anywhere on them you punch the free space.
In a phucked up medical system that will bankrupt a well off working person everything is covered by the Feds.

USA Covid medical response is 100% Socialist an Trump declared mid march 2020 no American would suffer economic hardship due to Covid infection and like everthing in the USA once federal takes responsibility for the bill they get all of ot plus what ever extra the State can slip in.
100% of the population has 100% medical coverage including the funerals.
Even minorities like Latinos and Blacks are paid by Federal funds regardless of their heath coverage. Normally paid by State but now anything with Covid related on the death cert is Federal funding.

To point out another absurdity in the new rules, having my daughter over for dinner on our deck is illegal, but if we met at an outdoor patio at a Winnipeg restaurant and dined in the same area as a whole bunch of strangers it would be completely legal.

The reason for this blatant contradiction is simple: the restaurant association made it crystal clear that without outdoor dining, most of them will be closed for good within the month. I don't blame them for lobbying the government and I don't want them bankrupted, but the argument that this measure was taken on the basis of science is a self-evident lie.

What, you still can't explain the poor performance of the U.S. decentralized system.

It performs better than ours because there are still some elements of free enterprise left in it. Not many, but some. The insurance end of American health care is, however, mostly centrally planned. Mandated coverage for illnesses that you have to buy whether you want the coverage or not. A socialist tort law system which requires doctors to prescribe unnecessary tests out of fear or being sued and otherwise results in massive costs for liability insurance.

Pointing out the ineptitude of central planning is not a conspiracy theory. It's a well documented historical fact. It explains why the West shipped grain to the Soviet Union instead of the other way around.

"What we do need is a better response to detect and contain viral outbreaks. I blame the WHO and the world community that runs it." Don't you think the authorities have already thought of this? Why were they not able to achieve it? WHO? That's a central planning agency if there ever was one.

Because central planning as such refuses to use price signals, there is literally no sensible way left to balance supply and demand for medical care. Socialized medicine is headed for total collapse and no lockdown can prevent it.
