Checked Amarillo TX temps last night(1;00am)

Was -1'C , hourly forecast was for 4 more hours of -1'C and -2'C

Checked Dodge City and Great Bend KS

Was forecast to be -1'C for 4 hours, warmer there because it was snowing!

Checked Bismarck ND, it was -4'C

Will likely be colder tonight if it clears.

That Winter Wheat is a pretty hardy plant, I don't think -1 to -2 will have much of an effect on it.

But, I guess we'll have to wait and see, maybe tonight it will go to -3 to -4 in some areas.

Nebraska was a couple degrees colder around 7 am.
Saw a field of HRS right up against the Pasqua hills that froze in the flowering stage that wasn't worth harvesting.
Frost at early heading can be bad.
Wish Mallee could comment.
They get some bad frost at heading.
