The ultra right and ultra left are virtually the same. The goofs who stormed the whitehouse and BLM antifa radicals are one in the same; a bunch of hoodlums. People need to throw away antiquated ideas of right and left and see things for what they are. Everything has gone tribal because people do not trust or embrace the establishment no matter what party is there. Conspiracy theories are a symptom of people’s distrust and trump used them to build his base like the antifa and marxists use the nazi boogeyman. It is a worldwide phenomena and I honestly do not know how this can be quelled before a Hitler type takes advantage of the situation. Populism is good in small doses to bring much needed change at times but when it starts to reak of anti democratic it is scary. Trudeau, trump, Bolsonero, Duerte, etc have emerged through populist means. Virtual cults of personality which make no sense of how they can stay in power for their misgivings but when you have a cult they die for you.
