Grain markets continue up

Sure didn't take long for canola to drop 1 buck a bushel.

Still a really good price for selling compared to only a couple weeks ago.

Correctimundo Beaverdam, history repeats, again and again. It works the other way too. One time, long ago I bought a junky house trailer that was attracting unsavories. I then advertised it for immediate removal at a firesale price. There was no interest at all. So I raised the price to thousands and almost instantly got scads of calls. It was gone within 10 days and the buyer was happy as.......

Very true statement...

We could not hold any longer , lost our grip lol .
Sold the majority of canola last week and finally made a decent deal on most remaining wheat on Monday .
Canola being hailed out already on a feb / March contract and hopefully wheat will be gone before road bans .
Good or bad we got our pricing we were looking for .
Only thing left to market is green peas and they can stay put for now .

Politics plays a big role regardless of what some say , so we went with gut feeling .
Markets may go higher later but for now many things are going on behind the scenes and that made us nervous right or wrong . Regardless, nice to have free choice to make all marketing decisions on our own terms , when we want and whatever volume we deem necessary. That’s essential in today’s grain farms .
