Over half of our google feeds are opinion not news. People cant differentiate with 3 second attention span.
I'm old enough to remember a newscast that had current events from around the world. Pay attention, not happening anymore.
Media has been suspect throughout history. But this time it's doing this to itself.
Critical thinking levels are low.

You are absolutely correct. Way more opinion than news throughout the media, and not just on the left. All media has a bias. The least critical thinkers are those that only listen to one side and tune out any media with a bias different from there own. People need to hear opinions on both sides of any issue if they are to make an informed decision. You need to watch/listen/read both CNN/CBC/New York Times/Bill Mahr and Fox/Rebel/The Economist/Rush Limbaugh. And you need to critically question both sides, not just the side you disagree with. Blind agreement rather than critical questioning is what has divided people.

The liberals have only been in power long enough for half the country to hate them, they need another term to turn the other half against them, similar to the liberal government in Ontario, it just takes a little longer sometimes.

It should make every Canadian worry ... a lot . But too many are on the government tit now .
