Had an old fellar around here that always used to add a decimal point to a completely ludicrous number to make it seem plausible...

But it's from the Ozzy Garden of Eden, not the Ozzy Ghetto.

Sounds like the Ozzy bumper crop is cutting into the domestic prices. I remember the wheat prices you were quoting, last year, made me envious.

Wheat a follower usually rather than leadder.

USDA still reckon on 36.5 mmt Ukr Corn production???

People suggesting this is possibly 7 million tonne to high.

If it turns out correct in ensuring months corn will be supported or rise or take off wheat one would think may follow

In recent weeks Algeria has changed their tolerances to accept black sea wheat to diversify sources from traditionally importing from France. Egypt has also followed with increased imports and incentivising domestic production.

Lower black sea stocks the better in current market

Yes, but not sure it will result in higher highs

This trend higher, as you have rightly noted, is tied to Black Sea production. 10 years ago Ukraine and Russia exported only a fraction of the wheat they do now. The historically high prices of 2011, 2012 brought Russia and Ukraine to prominence. High prices cure high prices....

As Black Sea exports and export forecasts go, so goes the markets. Good thing we still have a piece of the world market pie..
