There's a lot of debate on having the politics forum and it's difficult making any changes on this website since not everyone agrees and it takes time to adapt. We are going to discuss here if it's worth it.
We're not going to shut down every mention of politics.
And ideally users are respectful so I don't have to follow up with them.

Since everyone can be blocked or ignored anyway then I am not sure why some posters were so upset.

I have made many posts urging posters to provide evidence to back up their opinions and stick to the subject and avoid the mudslinging. But that in most cases was ignored.

Nope just toeing the line. I was told the left was misunderstood and I need to give them a chance and hear them out. So I am doing that. I want to be part of the solution, whatever it is, even if that means killing our industries. I am trusting the science all the way now.
