We had 80 acres of peas that saw zero herbicide this year( other than diquat), only regret was not doing a spring burn off.
Would have spanked the wee bit of absinthe, narrow leaf HawksBeard and small patch of foxtail barley.

Oh well can't say they were any better than the other fields that saw herbicide but the year was kinda kind to peas for not developing root rot in the Sahara Slum of the Ghetto.
In our fields where I missed a wedge spraying rhe peas are nearly a foot taller and dark green. This has occurred over and over again and I see it with others as well.

Was that viper or pursuit ?
We never hurt peas before with pursuit , but it sure kicked the shit outta them this year ?

How long does solo stay in the soil. I have a spot where I kicked the valve open to drain the last couple gallons out of the sprayer. Once in 2014 and it still shows like I just did it

Incas look good but not done yet. Abarths are the only ones I have heard of being done so far. Spectrums are at least a week from spraying yet. Overal they all look ok and are still standing relatively good through the last few rains

Viper and I m surprised about the pursuit we don’t use it just because of rhe Carry over.

Maybe we wouldn’t need a root rot tolerant seed if the sprays didn’t wack them so hard? I don’t know but somethings wrong.

Average pea yields are around 34 bu/ac, anything over that is considered “above” average. So looks like above average, to well above average .... just saying.
We have no control of prices anyway.
We could like through our teeth and it wouldn’t help. Be like me and don’t answer any numbers you don’t recognize.

Lots of pea yields here will need a decimal between the 3 and the 4 and most acres I ever seen.

Best luck I've had with viper is spraying in the dead of night when the plants are soaking wet.

No flashing, better weed control(I'm seeing significant activity on plenty of non-listed weeds), and ever since I started doing that higher yields.

Nearly everyone else in the area is spraying peas in the middle of the afternoon, and they look like they got winged within a couple days.

I dunno... could be completely off base, but it seems to be working here.

We had Inca peas this year. We were pleasantly surprised with the Yield. We did not have any other peas variety’s to compare them to.

They did have a small amount of hail on them. With this crazy heat we have been having we noticed the pods splitting open and peas dropping on the ground. Not sure if that happens with other yellow pea variety’s. I did not notice that with our Dun peas in the past.

Have been hearing of some disappointing red lentil yields. Some 15 bu/a or less lots less than 20

We are Starting our red lentils today so will soon find out.

We had hail on 90+% of Farm so that definitely hurt the yields.
