They do an amazing number of random inspections here to make sure you don’t have too many but our limit for turkeys is 50
Most small producers process themselves or take them to the hutterites for processing. Saying that, I am not sure how happy they would be processing more than the non quota limit because they also raise turkeys.

I'm not saying it is essential to keep a SM policy for turkeys. But like it or not it's the current law. Choose to break the law thats fine but don't complain when you get caught, that's all I'm saying. I may do a few questionable things around my farm from time to time, but would not encourage my kids to cheat the system, it's a life lesson.
