That is exactly what everyone is saying actually. Business environment in Canada is so uncertain due to this government that businesses are scared to, or refuse to, make investment here. There is no confusion about this.

Dml, you will figure it out when you freeze in the dark. My father used to say, “It’s no use beating your head against a brick wall.” Pity Canada! If we ever needed a Trump, its four years ago.

Trump is in India currently gaining sales and business for USA companies. Pays to wear a suit.....unlike Skippy got us extra tariffs.

Trump had a little India rally and 110,000 attended.

Really Jazz? Here are direct quotes from the Tech letter:

At the same time, there is an urgent need to reduce global carbon emissions and support action on climate change.

As a proudly Canadian company for over 100 years, we know these two priorities do not have to be in conflict.

At Teck, we believe deeply in the need to address climate change and believe that Canada has an important role to play globally as a responsible supplier of natural resources. We support strong actions to enable the transition to a low carbon future. We are also strong supporters of Canada’s action on carbon pricing and other climate policies such as legislated caps for oil sands emissions.

Jazz you reply was total BS and it proves the Mark Twain axiom:“What gets us into trouble is not what we don't know. It's what we know for sure that just ain't so.”

F that, I am in no mood today. That statement was clearly coerced by the feds to give them some exit cash. They wont be investing a dime in Canada ever again, so might as well play with the feds for a couple days to make a dignified and economic exit and save face at the same time.

Yeah I'm in no mood this morning either. **** you dml. Would YOU honestly invest your own money in a mining company in Canada today? Not our ****ing money, not government money. YOUR OWN money. I sure as **** wouldn't with all this environmental and native protest bullsh1t going on. **** Canada and its limp d1ck leader. I don't blame Teck for pulling out one bit. I have a few planned machinery purchases for this year on hold right now and I know it's going to be a blood bath for sellers at RB this spring. I'm not investing any more than necessary in farming this year.

This is what the CEO of Teck has to say about it.

DML is confused. I suspect most Liberal
Loving Canadians can't see past their
TV dinners and the game they are watching. Once they have killed Canada's resource industries and the world slips into a depression, I would guess 20 years and a new generation before major energy development commences again.
