    Hamloc

In my post I only stated how the CPC party members treated Scheer after his defeat to Trudeau, along with a quote for Peter Mackay. Take your beef up with them not me.

What Scheer said on Friday about the protesters behind blockades ‘need to check their privilege’ probably didn't sit well with the Mohawks, whether it was justified or not. Could be the main reason he was left off the invitation list. Who knows.

Hamloc, you say your disappointed in my outlook, I think you should focus that disappointment on the situation on hand, not a poster on an Ag chat line who has as much power as you do regarding the out come.

Seriously ForageF, just remember this in the future when the conservatives are in power. That day will happen. Do not expect that slight to be forgotten.

Let Trudeau wear it. They are just about ready to shut down operations at Port of Montreal due to lack of transport capacity from raillines. Let it go. Let him burn with it. Even if operations resume tomorrow, CN has a 2 week backlog, probably a month, to get back up to speed.

I am hearing our Q4 GDP numbers were terrible. With the virus, this stoppage, investment probably fleeing, we will be in recession in a couple months if we are not already.

2 Train derailments over night. Coincidence? Have you ever in your life seen 2 derailments in one day in this country? And its always oil that gets derailed, never a load of diapers.

Saying suspected tampering with at least one.

CPC has non confidence motion tabled on HoC order papers since yesterday.

15 years ago a train derailed west of Kindersley. Lots of people were smoking broken cigarettes for awhile after that.

The derailment in Emo is in my backyard and while I haven't seen the exact location, I am betting it is at the East curve coming into town, which has had 2 or 3 derailments before in last 6 years or so. It's a tight curve and really needs to be straightened - but CN isn't going to spend the money buying land and rebuilding a couple miles of track.

But this is the first time it has ever been on national news. Something about derailments that gets the media all worked up nowadays. Lots of curves around here; must have been about 10 derailments in last 15 years. CN just calls in the local contractors and bring in all the heavy equipment they need - everybody else continues on their business.

The bleeding heart Liberals have told us it’s better to not have an Energy East Pipeline because it’s better to haul oil down these tracks. The Laurentian Elite leaders know best when it comes to “social licensing”.

Why did Turdeau not draw this conclusion before buying it in the first place, beyond incompetent. The whole Lieberal party should be relieved of their positions and have their pensions stripped.

They added to the cost by requiring heavier pipe after all the pipe was already bought and paid for.
