I think it was well over 10 years. I was there for most of it. For a while there were three and then there was one lonely picket there more or less permanently. Life went on.

Meanwhile in Regina this is nothing more than a photo op for Jerry. He will get millions in dues out of that shot of him in the paddy wagon. The only consolation I'm taking from this is that its Federated that has to wear the negative PR. Goddam socialists all of them.

All FCL has to do is start posting job openings for these 800 useless pricks and that will really get things rolling..

Could easily cut the staff back to 300 and increase our dividend cheque’s.

Time to trim the useless fat.

Mr. Diaz commented on numerous occasions that Federated makes 3 million dollars per day, implying they can afford to pay employees more.

How zealous would Mr. Diaz be if his accountant sent him a higher bill based solely on a increase in Mr. Diaz's own income.

This strike is really about defined benefit pensions. Federated wants to move to defined contribution pensions and - not surprisingly - the union wants to hang onto what they've had in the past. I can't say I blame them but that kind of gold plated pension doesn't exist anywhere anymore except in Parliament. I have no love for Federated. Its fun to watch them squirm.

Talked to a coop trucker. He said he hasnt worked for a week. He said there are no trucks hauling out of the refinery. So stock up.

Read there shipping it out by rail.
                    Then loading trucks..
                    Bypassing the blockade..
That is why unifor blocked the CP line..
