I forget how many years I have been saying that already.

Mother nature loves a challenge, and making a statement such as that is seen as a challenge. And she always wins when you start playing that game.

25% done. All of it tough, mostly too tough to even test, probably closer to 30% on wheat. Found some Canola at 14%. Did do a truckload of 14.5 barley, but the straw was too tough to do anymore. Everything flat from snow, very slow and hard on equipment. Snow on the ground again today, with more in forecast.

I know people would ask what our barley was testing and I’d tell them 18% which it was after roasting slowly in the dryer😉. It was probably 25-30 before drying. Did a few loads of wheat at probably 40% out of desperation but gave it up after it required beating on the fully raised truck box to get it out. Got a couple inches of white stuff here overnight after yesterday’s rain.

Hope it turns around for you.

Had to throw out the hay tester this summer, since there was no point in testing anyways. Seems to be a continuation of that now.

              Got to think positive.
              OR exit the game now.

If it helps you aren't alone, story only marginally better here, only 4 days, 2 of them short cause of rain in the combine so far this year. Thought the shower and wind we got yesterday wasnt that bad until this mornings blizzard.
