The whole strategy of waiting until after the election to talk louder about Western separation is its too late ...

Scheer should have been put on notice that things are phucked out here and the previous conservative government and his cheerleading is part of the problem....they didn't change the railways or fine them and Trudeau gave the railways more....

The conservatives gutted farm support and since we vote conservative... Trudeau figured western farmers liked it in the ass so he continued....

The strategy of getting a western voice after the election is stupid ...it should have been made front and centre during this election ....not hoping for a conservative win....

Moe should have been in Ontario saying what he is now during the campaign...

Its not .....the west wants in....anymore.....its the west wants out

We have shitty conservative MPs that are more interested in tasting wine on CTVs power play than actually doing something....they are living on taxpayers money and they enjoy it....they don't want to work for the betterment of western canadian people ....leaving the confederation means work...they are not going there...

I do think they need to listen. There is always more time for action.

There shouldn't be a drop of foreign oil used in Canada.

There should have been trade delegations put together, made up of affected provinces and the Feds, to places where diplomatic relations have failed or unreasonable tarrifs imposed.

There has to be more to ruling a nation than taxing and spending and redistributing our nation's wealth at home and abroad.

What ever happened to the concept of nation building? For the embetterment of every Canadian.

Talk about shooting yourself in the foot! Posters on this site repeated claim how bad Albertans have it and how Albertans are being ripped off by Eastern Canada, yet I guarantee any Easterner that views this graphic will immediately see Albertan as simply greedy whinners. After all, the graphic shows the GDP/Capita in Alberta is much higher than Canada's. This graphic does more to hurt western Canada then help solve real issues out west!

We wonder how the east could be so stupid? Look at demographics and what's happened the last 20+ years. We have literally siphoned all of the youth out of the rest of Canada. What remains? Those who choose to not work or are of the age they can't. Alberta and Sask are considerably younger populations than any other provinces. We have a higher percentage of workers. Now this from Zeihan last night...

Unless*the Canadians can get their shit together, it will be eeeeeeasy for Washington to start cutting deals with individual Canadian provinces to hammer preexisting wedges ever-deeper into the Canadian system.
