Saw some of those silk threads floating around and on the ground today.

Is wheat supposed to flow out of the hatch with the box raised? Not sure if it’s “progress” but acres are being “chewed” through around here. If one machine didn’t blow a cylinder belt and the unexpected rain/ snow the other day we’d be finishing up tonight.

    Looks over for us tomorrow.
    We'll see what November brings.
Worrisome part is, it's the most important part of my income. The last 25%

Like Grassfarmer and Jay-Mo said. My hometown is Killarney MB. Going east a mix of crops but once in Pembina and Red River valley it soybeans and corn left. Corn 40% moisture and higher. Beans are swelling and splitting pods open. A lot of the edible bean crop still out and obviously ruined.

Big story looming is the flooding possible in spring. Our creek (usually a bell weather) is already in flood stage.

I'm not too far from Braveheart in SW Manitoba and like he said, still some snow on our fields and where there's not snow its water and mud. Fields were just barely holding traffic before the 2+ feet of snow. No progress here in 12 days and counting.
I went for a drive yesterday and many places I could not drive past more then a half mile without seeing wheat, canola, oats and soybeans still out there.
We have 40% of our crop still out.
