And over the last 100 years those people have used the millions of years of energy captured from that giant gaseous ball and stored as fossil fuels to operate those cars. Highly inefficient cars too converting perhaps 25% of the energy burned into mechanical energy the remainder going as waste heat and byproduct gasses which do effect climate. Think about that Jazz

I have absolutely no authority to speak on this but I think what ever is sucked out of the ground from the depths oil wells are, is simply Earth's solely produced condensate hydrocarbons from deeper gaseous sources that percolated up from deeper depths and cooled and formed those hydrocarbons. Nothing "fossil" about them.

Just a neat package that when ignited in the presence of oxygen releases heat energy. Aren't we lucky!.....on a planet that has areas basically otherwise uninhabitable by humans certain times of the year without it!

Never said that , ever . It’s the climate fanatics who are completely ignoring their models are fundamentally flawed .
Yes man needs to do better . In fact the rest of agriculture in the world is trying to catch up to the zero till , reduced fuel usage per ac , the very expensive emissions controls we already have to adhere to . When China , Brazil and India and others get on board with how much we already reduce emissions the world will be a better place

One of the areas that make me suspicious about governments and by extension, climatologists, is why they must change data and only show partial graphs when putting their argument forward. It seriously hurts their credibility.

Interesting that big banks are selling mortgages in areas that are risk of flooding due to climate change exactly the same way they disposed of sub prime mortgages in the nineties. Banks are covering their bases by getting out before flooding. Many references to this but here is one that most on this list will find credible as not left wing

That’s what happens is an extremely low sun spot cycle . Weather patterns , jet streams become more erratic as the pressure in the very upper atmosphere is lower due to less particle forcing from the sun . Thus much higher variance in weather patterns .
The truth is out there for those who understand.
And it has way less to do with mankind than most of the climate models are showing . Because they are all fundamentally flawed .

By being proactive we Canada and the US did stop the problem of acid rain in Eastern Canada. Margaret Thatcher in Great Britain after consulting with Canadian David Schindler shut down the coal operated electricity and ended their acid rain problem.

Became of the scientific knowledge the world banned DDT, Dieldrin and Alderins. On our farm we once used a herbicide TOK RM which was later banned because it was a carcinogenic substance, Furidan was also banned because of toxicity and impact on the environment. The EPA recently banned Lorsban only to have it reinstated by executive order by Donald Trump.

David Schindlers work on phosphates in laundry detergents (now largely removed) and the pollution of the Great lakes was greatly reduced. Schindlers good science was the main reason these algae producing phosphates were removed. Schindler revealed he was followed around by the detergent companies so called experts who denied phosphates were a problem.

There was a large hole in the ozone layer that threatens people with skin cancer and that problem with world action the hole in the ozone layer is vastly diminished. The world action to remove the substances causing the hole in the ozone layer was based on science as well.

The ice caps in the Arctic and Antarctic are melting as is the ice pack on Greenland and this is not debatable. It is happening.

So the world did address climate disasters and came up with solutions. This was based on good science.

Anyone who farms in Canada knows the extremes in weather they are experiencing (high humidity, torrential rainfalls, heat and droughts)

Yes we have climate change and the vast majority of scientists are right.
