Re aussie drought some context
Will ask name of town and edit later escapes me just now.
A blue ribbon cropping/grazing area in NSW thinking $6000/7000 plus per acre country.
28 inch rainfall annual thus far as of tuesday evening he had a whopping 3 and 1/10th of a inch for the year prevoius year 45% and previous to that 70%
Plenty of plkaces like that but thats most extreme example and weve gone from winter to early summer weather in about a week crops frying up.
My patch we are 13.5/14 inch rainfall currently sitting on 8 inches and 9/10ths so were spot on avearge a relative garden of eden.
But frost season is upon us

They can get in and can buy here and get out under the radar and we find out six months later. 100 to 300K a month goes by and no one pays attention and pretty soon its - WTF.
If they bought anywhere else the rest of the planet would know. Every one of the talking heads that was all over China's shitting on canola with a classic: but look, they are buying wheat - missed the real reason why they came to Canada and with it, a chance to lobby for an export reporting program. Apparently it still is not important or the people farmers have speaking on their behalf only know rah rah and can't think far enough ahead or back to ask how this happened. Ostriches with their heads in the sand, sadly, have a place in the Ag Hall of Fame.

Just like reporting where and how much canola oil is going for. Where is canola going and is it ending up in China round about? Price?
