On the other hand, if you showed up at someones door with a crucifix on your t shrt, you think the sihk community would vote for you?

Only in a few countries is religion not mixed in with politics. Everywhere else its front and center. That doesn't fly in Canada.

The Liberal vote is more efficient than the CPC vote. Which means more seats per % of popular vote.

With the NDP evaporating, the Greens are going have a caucus in this parliament and likely the balance of power.

        Let the nightmares begin.

Correction, let the separation begin. It will only be a nightmare to those left behind.

Sorry, but there aren't enough disaffected voters to pass a vote on separation.

            Canadians are too nice.

As much as I am tired of being Eastern Canada's bitch I don't believe in it.

I don't think it is as simple as saying Sayonara and hitching a ride with the US.

In the 90s when Quebec seats went almost all Bloc, that was seen as a mandate to negotiate a new deal for them. Eastern BC, AB, Sk and MB have as many seats as that. It should be treated the same way.

I agree it could be messy. Look at the poor UK. Trying to separate for more than 2 yrs and cant get it done.

Great a part time drama teacher, and an alcoholic in charge of the country. The Cons only concerned with southern Ont votes, i wouldnt be surprised a new Reform/Western party will be in the running 5 years from now.

Elizabeth May is the Most intelligent of any of the leaders.
                    .
That may very well be true, but why would you set the bar so low as to compare a potential PM of the country to that group? That is like pronouncing the most intelligent thing Justin Trudeau ever said, or Chuck's best post ever.
