Actually got 6 hours of dry standing oats today

In my world water table don't exist, sloughs only dry from the sun, when fields are wet were are done. Hardpan here means hardpan.

Someone else who understands what we go through in the grey wooded. On the entire farm, there is a total of one pothole which drains into the ground when the frost comes out( and comes back out through sidehill seeps elsewhere). Everything else has to evaporate, or else take years to soak in.
