Little off topic, came across a farm looking to hire. The add said looking for “Field Superintendent”. WTF
I get a kick out the wording some use to try and attract workers.
Extra large scale farm seeks ...... not large but XL

According to some worst case models forecast lows for Sat and Sun <5C. Hope that doesn't get lower.
Next week's crop report could be interesting....

You'll have to qualify that - is that opposed to 100 in the east?

SK is right, we need a good month just to get this crop cured. Still will need 2 or more weeks after that to bring it in.

Really need heat to get this show on the road. Right now at mid morning 15c with 90% humidity and light rain so nothing will dry in this climate.
The crop looks good and hope to spray the peas this afternoon if it stops raining. Wheat and canola need a couple more weeks of frost free weather.

That makes an October harvest....if this COOL climate change stays or gets COLDER, yikes. Been dry here for a month about time it turns WET, to screw up a late crop/harvest.

We are in Larry's SHORT soil moisture, filling huge tall thick barley crops could be tough. Early canola 10 days or so, fields that germed on June 22 mostly yellow, two months away?
