    What the heck? you're using a Russian roulette version of the Kiwi slide but what's with the old sheep shears and the blood? what are you cutting with them?

      Gas knife cuts and cauterises tail the blood is mulesing. Pain relief is used

          It will be phased out trying to breed sheep that dont need mulesing, long process but can be done. Probably last year for us were just gonna tail strip which is alittle bit of sking removed from side of tail. But then you have to rely on chemicals on the sheep to keep flies at bay.

          We shear twice a year which is another strategy
