Obama piped up in the press to say two things the POTUS should not do:

1. Speak before first listening to many perspectives from his advisors
2. Refrain from using social media and listening to comments from media in general. The noise screws with your mind. In other words, “keep your eye on the ball”.

Wise advice, impulse can get you into a lot of trouble, as in think before you speak.
