Too embarrassed

Is that a bunch of old men on their backs that didn’t survive the drought?

1/2 in rain since the snow May 2

Small red lentils. Zero rain on this half since snowmelt.

Half the canola is doing ok but still thin spots. Enough to fill in.

Late fields and worked last fall not so good.

It’s amazing that any crop is still standing with this drying wind every day. Should have seeded wall to wall lentils I guess. The farmer around here who burns Canary black to seed lentils, harrows and packs after seeding and has beautiful lentils. Time will tell. An inch of rain changes everything - fingers crossed.
