Bratts Lake just south of us. That’s just too cold for May 6.

This is funny! I had the radio on CBC today in the tractor today and they talked all day about heat and melting Canada and oceans rising and expending doom. Then I come in take off my winter clothes and read on here and its all COLD. I did here one story on the CBC news that said Regina hasn't been as cold last night since 1907.

Maybe the news people never got the memo that its HOT.

              Looks nice. 👍
Our grass has hardly turned green here let alone grow. It’s been sitting on hold for ten days that have hardly gotten above freezing and repeated dumps of snow. The weather guy is calling for +20 for Saturday............ I’ll believe it when it happens. Finally got back in the field today spreading manure and chisel plowing today so hopefully the sun sticks around.

As for the perfect seeding date here.
                The hutterites say the 10th-12th
                Here.
If you could seed it all those 2 days . It is your best bet.

I believe them . As I am sure
They have enough people to keep track of such things.
Mind you I am 6 miles north of them and it often seems like a different climate here. I will still have snow and they are bare.

So I had better run with 13-14 th
