I would say that elected officials coming out of an ag or even a farming background have a very poor record. Look at our boards and past ag ministers.

The feds were supposed to have hugely expanded biodiesel program to implement. Be a good time to get that on the books now that our canola market got torpedoed.

I am more worried about the reliance on China as the end user of our product that uses anything for negotiations. ..flax and pulses might be next....

Sadly none of the politicians look further than their nose and neither do farm organizations....

Saskpulse was hoping the Chinese would pick up the India slack.....that's their plan.

And what about the grow more make less plan with 8 dollar canola going into a dry year......

He was fiancé minister from 2003 to 2006. And got the Wascana slough in front of the Sask Legislature building dug deeper! Seems Liberals like digging deep holes.

Fall and winter of 03/04. Money flowing into his constituency, that's why SF3 voted for him....he got some sort of kickback......

Promoting a cheery new wave millennial view of farming is not going to improve our image in the country. The city folk are already watching millions of dollars of equipment jumping from field to field. Watch some of these videos these people put out. Makes farming look like a vacation. All you got to do is throw some seed into he ground, take some drone vids and then jump in your climate controlled combine cab and whip it off, then its off to mexico in January. That's how city people view farming.
