I still think there is something deeper here. He cant win the election with just Quebec and they will lose pretty much 99% of the seats west of Ontario now and good chunk in ontario as well. Conservatives and bloc can still take double digits in Quebec as well.

He is trying to get SNC off as fast as he can. They are going to try a DPA again and if not just eliminate the contracts ban. Doing it right away right in front of our eyes. That doesn't look like a PM trying to win an election. Looks like one with something personal to cover up. He sort of looks like he is going to resign as soon as he can get SNC off the hook. I mean what do they have on him.
